The 2243 m above sea level. A. high Hundskopf , also Walder Zunterkopf , is the easternmost rocky summit of the Gleirsch-Halltal chain in the Karwendel in Tyrol . To the south of the Hundskopf lies the Inn Valley , to the north it slopes down with a steep rock face to the Vomper Loch .

Two trails lead to the summit. From the west of the summit building located Mannl-and-Weibele Forcella ( 2180 . A. m above sea ) is the height above the Felix-Kuen - fixed rope to reach ( difficulty B / C ). The normal route , which is also partially insured and exposed, leads over the east ridge to the summit. Because of its easy accessibility from the Hinterhornalm , the summit is visited relatively often. To 1522 m above sea level. A meter high Hinterhornalm can be reached from Gnadenwald via a toll road.
