Holdigaz , based in Vevey, is a Swiss energy supply company . It supplies around 160 municipalities in the cantons of Vaud , Valais and Friborg with a total of 1,445 GWh of natural gas via its 1,450-kilometer network . This is entirely obtained from Gaznat , in which Holdigaz has a 9.45 percent stake. In addition, the group is active with various subsidiaries in the fields of sanitary technology as well as heating and air conditioning technology and provides services for restaurants.

Holdigaz emerged in 2005 from the merger of Compagnie Industrielle et Commerciale du Gaz SA (CICG) in Vevey, founded in 1861, and Société du Gaz de la Plaine du Rhône SA (SGPR) in Aigle , founded in 1922 . The group of companies employs around 360 people and generated sales of 176.7 million Swiss francs in the 2007/2008 financial year.
