Holenyschtschewe ( Ukrainian Голенищеве ; Russian Голенищево Golenishchevo ) is a village in the west of the Ukrainian Oblast Khmelnyzkyj with about 400 inhabitants (2004).
The village, first mentioned in 1493, is the administrative center of the district council of the same name , to which the village of Romaniwka ( Романівка ⊙ ) with about 300 inhabitants belongs.
The village is located in the west of Chemerivtsi Raion on the banks of the Sbruch on the border with Ternopil Oblast, 21 km northwest of the district center of Chemerivtsi and about 85 km southwest of the Oblast capital Khmelnytskyi .
East of Holenyschtschewe the 66 hectares is protected landscape Welyka i Mala Buhajichy with the Welyka Buhajicha , which with 409 m highest mountain in the Oblast.
