Holger Alley

Holger Gasse (born May 27, 1969 in Leipzig ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Gasse attended the Georgi Dimitrow Secondary School in Leipzig from 1983 to 1987 , where he graduated from high school specializing in foreign languages. From 1987 to 1988 he did his military service as a tank hunter in the National People's Army and studied thereafter from 1989 to 1992 at the Technical University of Leipzig in the study automation technology and engineering cybernetics . In 1992 he started his own business as a restaurateur and trained as a business economist at the Leipzig Chamber of Crafts in 2009/10 . Between 2010 and 2013 he completed a postgraduate course at the Zittau / Görlitz University of Applied Sciences with a Bachelor of Arts degree in corporate management . He is a founding member of the Sellerhausen- Stünz Citizens' Association .

Gasse has been a member of the CDU since 2003. From 2007 to 2013 he was deputy chairman of the CDU local club in Leipzig-East.

Electoral offices

In the local elections in Saxony in 2004 he was elected to the city council of Leipzig for the first time, where he was deputy chairman of the city's auditing committee from 2009 to 2014 and also a member of the board of directors of Leipziger Wohnungs- und Baugesellschaft mbH until 2015. At the same time, he was local councilor for Leipzig- Mölkau from 2009 to 2014 .

In the state elections in Saxony in 2014 , Gasse won the direct mandate in the Leipzig 7 constituency with 32.8% , moved into the state parliament as a member and resigned from his local political mandates. There he is a member of the Committee on School and Sport and the Petitions Committee.

In the state elections in Saxony in 2019 , he was re-elected constituency member in the Leipzig 7 constituency with 26.3 percent of the direct votes and was thus able to continue his work in the previous committees.
