The Holper Bach , in the upper reaches to above Oberholpe Bruchhauser Bach , is a 14.4 km long right tributary of the Sieg in North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate , Germany .

geography

The brook rises as Bruchhauser Bach southeast of Hermesdorf at an altitude of 364  m above sea level. NHN . It flows primarily in southeastern directions and passes the village of Bruchhausen . Below Oberholpe the stream is then called Holper Bach . Then it flows through the aforementioned Oberholpe and Holpe and Kaltau and flows through Pirzenthal at 139  m above sea level. NHN right side in the victory .

The Holper Bach overcomes a height difference of 225 m on its 14.4 km long path, which corresponds to a mean bed gradient of 15.6 ‰. It drains a 26.2 km² catchment area via Sieg and Rhine to the North Sea .
