Holtensen is a district of the Lower Saxony town of Springe .

history

Holtensen was first mentioned around the year 1200. On March 1, 1974, Holtensen was incorporated into the town of Springe. The district of Wülfinghausen with the Wülfinghausen monastery founded in 1236 also belongs to the district of Holtensen .
