Alferde is a district in the southeast of the town of Springe in Lower Saxony . The state road 461 passes near the village. The Wülfinghauser Mühlenbach flows through the village.
history
Alferde was first mentioned in a document in 972 as "Alfrikesrode" and "Alacfurd".
The previously independent rural community Alferde joined the municipality of Hallermund in 1967 together with the city of Eldagsen and the communities of Wülfingen and Mittelrode. With the Lower Saxony regional reform, which came into force on March 1, 1974, the integrated community was dissolved, and Alferde has been a district of the city of Springe since then.

Culture and sights
Buildings
- The tower of the St. Nikolai Church in the center of the village was built around 1300, other parts of the building are probably even older.
- The Alexander stone on the road between Eldagsen and Alferde was replaced by a replica in 1983. An image of the stone can be seen in the Alferder coat of arms.
