Holzendorf is a district of the municipality of Groß Miltzow of the Woldegk district in the Mecklenburg Lake District in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania .
geography
The place is one kilometer west of Groß Miltzow, eight kilometers north of Woldegk and eleven kilometers northwest of Strasburg . Holzendorf does not have its own district , but lies in the northwest of the district of Groß Miltzow. The neighboring towns are Lindow and Badresch in the northeast, Groß Miltzow in the east, Holzendorf Aufbau in the south, Ulrichshof in the west and Golm in the northwest.
history
From 1946 the place belonged to the district of Neubrandenburg and on July 25, 1952 the municipality of Holzendorf came to the district of Strasburg . With effect from January 1, 1973 Holzendorf lost its independence and was incorporated into Groß Miltzow.
Attractions
- The Holzendorf Church is a brick church from the beginning of the 14th century. In the interior there is, among other things, an altarpiece from around 1730.
