Horodkiwka ( Ukrainian Городківка ; Russian Городковка Gorodkowka , Polish Chałaimgródek ) is a village in the south of the Ukrainian Oblast Zhytomyr with about 1000 inhabitants (2001).
The village, founded in the time of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania as Velyki Scherdeli ( Великі Жерделі ) was destroyed in 1482 and remained uninhabited until the beginning of the 17th century. The newly built village was first mentioned in writing in 1724. The village was called Chałaimgródek until 1946 and then received its current name.
