Hostel Dissected is an American documentary from 2006 by Gabriel Roth, in which the horror film Hostel from 2005 is treated by Gabriel Roth's brother Eli Roth . The main focus is on the hostel development process . Hostel Dissected thus represents a typical making-of , which is often included on a DVD of the main film. In addition to director , screenwriter and film producer Eli Roth, actors Jay Hernández , Derek Richardson , Eyþór Guðjónsson , Rick Hoffman and Jennifer Lim , producers Chris Briggs and Mike Fleiss , cameraman Milan Chadima , film editor George Folsey Jr. and Eli are part of the production Roth's father Sheldon Roth and the Japanese cult director Takashi Miike , who has a guest appearance in the film Hostel , have their say.
