action

Advertising expert Morris Codman lives in New York City . He is going through a professional crisis, and his relationship with Debby is also in crisis. Codman has a drinking problem.

Codman is watching TV and suddenly God shows him on the screen, advising Codman to start his own business. Codman founds a religion that is organized like a company and brings profit. The disappointed Debby leaves him, whereupon Codman changes his attitude towards money.

Reviews

The editors of www.kino.de described the film as a " cheerful comedy parody of yuppie attitude and religious entrepreneurship " as well as a " harmless comedy pleasure ". Jonathan Penner plays the main role " confidently ".

Rotten Tomatoes wrote that the low budget comedy poked fun at capitalism; its end is predictable. Sandra Bullock " shine " in a supporting role.
