Hristu Chiacu (born September 6, 1986 in Bucharest ) is a Romanian football player . The striker played a total of 114 games in the Romanian League 1 , the Polish Ekstraklasa and the Azerbaijani Premyer Liqası . He has been under contract with FC Academica Clinceni in Liga II since the beginning of 2017 .

Career

Chiacu emerged from the youth of Dinamo Bucharest , but did not collect his first assignments there, but at Unirea Urziceni in Divizia B , where he moved in 2003. But since he was rarely used, he joined the league competitor Electromagnetica Bucharest during the winter break . After four goals in nine games, the Romanian top clubs noticed him. In 2004 he committed Național Bucharest , where he came on August 7, 2004 for his first appearance in the top Romanian league, the Divizia A (now League 1 ).

With FC Național Chiacu was able to place in the front midfield in the 2004/05 and 2005/06 seasons , but just missed out on participation in the UEFA Cup . He also reached the cup final in 2006 , where the club was defeated by Rapid Bucharest . In the summer of 2006 he left the club and moved to Poland to Wisła Krakow . The club had a disappointing season and Chiacu returned to Romania where he signed a contract with his hometown club Dinamo Bucharest.

At Dinamo Chiacu did not get beyond a reservist role, so that he was loaned several times to other teams from League 1 who fought against relegation. Since September 2009 he has been playing for a top team again, FC Timișoara . In January 2011 he moved to FK Xəzər Lənkəran in the Azerbaijani Premyer Liqası , in the first half of 2011/12 he was loaned to newly promoted Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț , before he was firmly signed by league rival CS Concordia Chiajna during the winter break . However, it was not used there.

In the 2012/13 season Chiacu found no new club. In the summer of 2013 he finally committed League 1 promoted AFC Săgeata Năvodari . At his new club he was only used five times in the 2013/14 season and was relegated at the end of the season. In the summer of 2014 he was without a club for two months before Liga II promoted CS Baloteşti took him under contract. With his new club, he secured relegation in the 2014/15 season in the relegation round. Then first division club CS Concordia Chiajna took him under contract, but where he was not used. At the beginning of 2016 Chiacu moved to CSM Sighetu Marmației in Liga III . After the end of the season he had to relegate with Sighetu. At the beginning of 2017 he moved to FC Academica Clinceni in the Liga II.
