Hubert Turk

Hubert Türk (born January 31, 1925 in Nörvenich ; † June 15, 2011 in Bergisch Gladbach ) was a German politician and member of the state parliament ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school and high school , interrupted by military service and imprisonment, he obtained his Abitur in 1949 . He then studied at the University of Veterinary Medicine Hannover, laid in 1956, the state examination , and received his doctorate in 1957 for Dr. med. vet. After working as a veterinarian and at a veterinary authority, he worked for insurance companies. The author and local researcher Karl Heinz Türk is one of his brothers.

Türk had been a member of the CDU since 1964. He was active in numerous party bodies.

MP

From May 28, 1975 to May 28, 1980, Türk was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia . There he was u. a. Member of the committee for work, health, social affairs and affairs of displaced persons and refugees, of the petitions and sports committee. He was directly elected in constituency 028 Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis II.

He was a member of the district assembly of the Rheinisch-Bergischen district from 1969 to 1974.
