Hugh Johnson (cameraman)
Hugh Johnson (born April 25, 1946 in Navan , Ireland , † June 4 , 2015 in Los Angeles ) was an Irish cameraman and film director .
Career
Johnson began his film career in 1992 as Second Unit Director and since 1996 he has also worked as a cameraman. In 1999 he made his debut as a director with the film The Chill Factor . In 2006 he acted in the fantasy film Eragon - The Legacy of the Dragon Riders as a cameraman.
He has also repeatedly worked under the directors Ridley and Tony Scott as second unit director and cameraman, as in White Squall , The Jane Files , 1492 - Conquest of Paradise and Kingdom of Heaven .
