Huh Jung (born April 8, 1896 in Busan , then Korea , now South Korea ; † September 18, 1988 in Seoul , South Korea) was an independence activist , politician and President of South Korea.

Life

Huh Jung was the Acting Prime Minister of South Korea from November 6, 1951 to April 9, 1952, the eighth mayor of Seoul from 1957 to 1959 , Minister of Foreign Affairs in April 1960, and Acting Prime Minister of South Korea from June 15 to August 18, 1960 and Acting President of South Korea from April 26 to August 14, 1960.
