Huldingen ( Luxembourgish Huldang , French Huldange ) is a village in the municipality of Ulflingen in the north of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg with 351 inhabitants. In Huldingen is with the Kneiff at 560 m above sea level. NN and the Burrigplatz at 558 m above sea level. NN the two highest peaks in the country.

In the history of writing , the place only emerged once, when during the Thirty Years' War the inhabitants had to seek refuge in the woods from Christmas to August from the plundering soldiers from 1647–48.

The location of Huldingen near the important Diekirch - Stavelot road meant that small trading posts gradually emerged there. From the division of Luxembourg in 1839 until Eupen-Malmedy's annexation to Belgium in 1920, the triangle where Belgium, Prussia (or from 1871 the German Empire) and Luxembourg met was “on the forge” (Luxembourgish Schmëtt , French Huldange Forge ) .
The Gaessert forest is located north of Huldingen .
Since the 1970s, increasing border traffic has led to the settlement of larger shops and petrol stations. A large shopping center "on the green field" has recently opened in Schmëtt in Luxembourg, and is aimed primarily at customers from Belgium.
