Humberto Junior Machacón Cabrera (born October 5, 1989 in Barranquilla ) is a professional volleyball player .

He plays as an outside attacker in the Colombian national team and TSV Herrsching .

Career

Machacón began his career with the Liga Vallecaucana de Voleibol in Cali , Colombia. At the age of 21 he went abroad for the first time as a volleyball player and was Spanish champion and cup winner of the 2010-2011 season with CV Teruel . He then played in clubs in the first Greek league , in Poland's PlusLiga and in the second Turkish league. Machacón has been signed to German Bundesliga club TSV Herrsching since October 2018.

He played the Champions League with Teruel and the Challenge Cup with Foinikas Syros .

Machacón has been a Colombian international since his youth. He won medals at the 2010 South American Games in Medellín (bronze), the 2013 Bolivarian Games in Trujillo (bronze), the 2014 South American Championships (bronze) and the 2018 Central American Games in Barranquilla (silver).
