Hundred Reasons is a British rock band formed in Surrey in 1999 . A year after it was founded, Kerrang! the award as the best new band, for which Muse was nominated, among others .
Career
The group has recorded three studio albums so far, the first two with music producer Dave Sardy for the major Columbia Records label , the third with Larry Hibbitt for V2 Records . Several EPs and singles were also released . With the latter, Hundred Reasons made it into the top 40 of the British charts a total of six times, reaching its highest ranking in 2002 with the song Silver at number 15.
The album Quick the Word, Sharp the Action , released in October 2007, was recorded by the band in the Latvian capital Riga .
Hundred Reasons has so far been assigned to the genres post-hardcore , post-grunge , alternative metal and emo , and has toured with groups such as Rival Schools , Papa Roach , Incubus and Kittie .
