Hyeri (born June 9, 1994 in Gwangju , South Korea ), full name Lee Hyeri , is a South Korean singer in the girl group Girl’s Day and actress . She is best known for her roles in Seonam Girls High School Investigators (2014) and Eungdapara 1988 (2015). She is currently studying film at Konkuk University in Seoul .

Hyeri dated singer Tony An for over eight months . The relationship garnered a lot of media attention due to the 16-year age difference between the two. The couple announced they broke up due to their stressful schedules.

Career

In September 2010, Hyeri joined the Girl's Day group , along with Yura, after members Jiin and Jisun left the group just two months after it was founded.

In addition to her group activities, she is active as an actress in television series. In 2012 she played the baby of a family with four daughters in the series Tasty Life .

In August 2014, she appeared on Real Men for four days , which caused her aegyo to attract a lot of attention overnight .

In 2015 she starred in the most successful series of the year, Eungdapara in 1988 . This takes place in 1988 and is the third part of the nostalgia series after Eungdapara 1997 and Eungdapara 1994 .

In 2018, Hyeri made her screen debut in the film Monstrum . The film is set at the time of the Joseon Dynasty in 1527 when the palace of King Jungjong is haunted by a monster. Hyeri said she always wanted to appear in a period film but had no hope that this dream would come true.
