I-Wolf (civil: Wolfgang Schlögl ; born April 15, 1972 in Mödling ) is an Austrian musician from Vienna in the field of electronic music .

He became known with the band Sofa Surfers . In 2002 he also started a solo career. With the album I-Wolf Presents Soul Strata he was represented in the Austrian charts for three weeks from April 20, 2003 and achieved a top position at number 68. In 2004 he founded together with Hansi Lang and Thomas Rabitsch , at live concerts reinforced by Andy Bartosh , the group The Slow Club . The band project Paradies der Tiere was created with Franz Reisecker in 2012 . In addition to these band and solo projects, he also repeatedly works with various musicians from Austria and abroad ( Attwenger , Bee Pop , The Faraday Orchestra , Hipnotica and many others). Since 2003 Schlögl has been increasingly active in the field of theater music (Burgtheater, Josefstadt, Volkstheater, Rabenhof etc.). In the summer of 2013 he released two albums with his new band I-Wolf & The Chainreactions on the Austrian label seayou records .
