Ian Baker

Ian Baker (* 1947 in Melbourne , Victoria ) is an Australian cameraman .

Life

After Ian Baker was a cameraman for Getting Back to Nothing in 1971 , his real career began in 1976 with Fred Schepisi's Playground of the Devil , for which he was immediately awarded an AFI Award for Best Camera. Since then he has been working together with Schepisi for decades, during which he acted as a cameraman on almost all of Schepisi. Only in 2001, when he took over the camera for Queen of the Damned , Brian Tufano was hired for Schepisi's Final Round .
