Ian Jon Bourg

Ian Jon Bourg (born July 16, 1960 in Kailua , Hawaii ) is an American opera singer ( tenor ) and musical artist.

Life

Ian Jon Bourg played the role of Phantom of the Opera in three different tour productions in the USA since 1994 , then made his European debut in Hamburg in 1999 , where he played the role until 2001. In 2002 he again took on the role of the first cast in the Palladium Theater in Stuttgart , where he played over 400 performances as Phantom until 2004. Now he played the Phantom again in 2005/06 - this time at the Colosseum Theater in Essen , where he shared the role with three other Phantom actors.

In the USA he also appeared on the stages for six years as Monsieur André, also in the "Phantom of the Opera".

In 2002 he also took on the role of Count von Krolock in " Dance of the Vampires " in the Apollo Theater in Stuttgart for 8 months .

His repertoire also includes the works of Bach , Handel , Mozart , Britten , Gershwin , Lehár and Porter .

Ian Jon Bourg has already given several concerts with jazz pianist Dave Brubeck . In addition to his engagements, he teaches singing and acting at various schools.
