Ibrahim N'Goma Ba (born January 12, 1973 in Dakar , Senegal ) is a former French football player . He last played for AC Milan .

Career

society

Ba started his career in 1991 with the French club Le Havre AC , which is known worldwide for its good youth work. By 1996 he completed a total of 128 games for Le Havre before he was sold to Girondins Bordeaux . With the Girondins he reached the league cup final before moving to AC Milan after just one year for 12 million euros . In Italy, however, he was unable to assert himself and often just sat on the bench. So in 1999 it was awarded to AC Perugia . After the loan deal came to an end, he was loaned out again, this time to his home at Olympique Marseille . In the port city he was also only a substitute and only made 9 games for "OM". He then returned to Milan and played there until the 2003 UEFA Champions League triumph . After the rather unsuccessful stints at Bolton Wanderers , Çaykur Rizespor and Djurgårdens IF , he returned to Italy in 2006. He kept fit with Varese FC without a contract there. For the 2007/08 season he returned to AC Milan, where he ended his career at the end of the season. Ba has been working as a scout for the African continent at AC Milan since summer 2008 .

National team

Ba made his debut for the French national football team in 1997 . He was long considered a candidate for the 1998 World Cup in his own country, but he was not appointed to the 22-man squad by national coach Aimé Jacquet . In 1998 he made his last international match for the "Equipe Tricolore". For Ba there are a total of eight missions.
