Ibrahim Tankary (born March 24, 1972 in Niamey ) is a former Nigerien football player .

Ibrahim Tankary began his career in 1989 at the Nigerien association Liberté Niamey , where he was active until 1990. Liberté Niamey won the Nigerien Cup in 1989. Tankary was then involved in various clubs in Ouagadougou , the capital of Burkina Faso : first from 1990 to 1994 with RC Kadiogo Ouagadougou , the Burkinabe Cup winner from 1994, then in 1995 with USFA Ouagadougou and finally in 1996 with Étoile Filante Ouagadougou , the Burkinabe cup winner of the same year . After an interlude at the Algerian US Chaouia in the 1996/1997 season, Tankary worked for Belgian clubs from 1997 . He played from 1997 to 1998 for AC Hemptinne-Eghezée , from 1998 to 1999 for Royale Entente Sambrevilloise , from 1999 to 2000 for AFC Tubize , from 2000 to 2003 for SK Lommel and from 2003 to 2004 for FC Brussels . From 2004 to 2006 he was active at SV Zulte Waregem , the Belgian Cup winner in 2006. Then Tankary moved for the 2005/2006 season to the club VV St. Truiden and for the 2006/2007 season to the club Royale Union Saint-Gilloise , who made him loaned to KFC Verbroedering Geel in the first half of 2007 . Then he was under contract with SK Londerzeel in the 2007/2008 season . In 2008 he moved to the amateur club RUS Albert Schaerbeek and a year later to US Walcourt .
