Ich Du Sie: Darlene's Men (Original Title: Eu Tu Eles ) is a Brazilian film.
action
The single parent, young and cheerful Darlene returns with her illegitimate son to her hometown in Ceará and marries the old Osias. Despite poor living conditions and the adversities of life, she does not lose her optimism. She doesn't care about social norms and ends up living with three men and four sons.
Reviews
The magazine Der Spiegel ruled in March 2001: The cinematic style is simple, but the leading actress Regina Casé, who is a star entertainer in her home country with her own weekly TV show, tears everything out with her bombastic temperament. The lexicon of international films describes Ich Du Sie: Darlene's men as a haunting parable about gender relations, which turns the real situation on its head and pointedly shows the possibility of a radical alternative.
