Igelschwang is a village and a cadastral municipality in the Wallsee-Sindelburg municipality in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria .

Settlement development

At the turn of the year 1979/1980 there was a local area in the cadastral community with 105 building areas on a total of 46856 m² and 120 gardens on 376358 m², in 1989/1990 there were 103 building areas. In 1999/2000 the number of building areas had increased to 149, with 24 buildings existing. In 2009/2010 there were 142 buildings on 229 construction areas.

Agriculture

The cadastral community is characterized by agriculture. 480 hectares were used for agriculture at the turn of the year 1979/1980 and 105 hectares were forest areas. In 1999/2000 agriculture was carried out on 487 hectares and 126 hectares were designated as areas used for forestry. At the end of 2018, 460 hectares were used as agricultural land and forestry was carried out on 139 hectares. Igelschwang's average soil climate number is 43.2 (as of 2010).
