Ignatius Salvador D'Souza

Ignatius Salvador D'Souza (born February 13, 1912 in Calangute , Goa , Portuguese India , † January 19, 1986 ) was Bishop of Baroda .

Life

Ignatius D'Souza Salvador received on 23 November 1938, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On September 29, 1966, Pope Paul VI appointed him . to the Bishop of Baroda. The Archbishop of Bombay , Valerian Cardinal Gracias , donated him episcopal ordination on November 30th of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the auxiliary bishops in Bombay, William Zephyrine Gomes and Longinus Gabriel Pereira .
