Ildar Amirowitsch Chairullin ( Russian Ильдар Амирович Хайруллин ; at the World Chess Federation FIDE Ildar Khairullin; born August 22, 1990 in Perm ) is a Russian chess player .

Career

Chairullin learned to play chess at the age of six. His first coach was Valery Pugachevsky. At the age of eight he became a candidate for a master craftsman, at fourteen international master . He met the required standards in 2003 at a tournament in Serpukhov and in 2004 at two tournaments in Moscow . After school, he began studying at the Saratov State Social and Economic University, but later moved to the State University of Economics and Finance in Saint Petersburg .

He won Russian youth championships in the age groups U10 (Serpuchow, 2000), U12 ( Dagomys , 2002) and U14 (Dagomys, 2003). In 2004 Chairullin won the U14 youth world championships in Heraklion , the next year he triumphed in the U18 age group in Belfort .

In 2003 and 2009 he won the championships of the Volga Federal District . In 2006 he shared the 5th – 7th Place at the Russian individual championship by outstripping Denis Chismatullin and Nikita Witjugow in the table, among others . He also won the Saint Petersburg City Championship in 2010.

In 2007 he was awarded the title of Grand Master by the World Chess Federation . He fulfilled the required standards in May 2005 at the World Youth Stars Intl in Kirishi , in February 2006 at the Aeroflot Open in Moscow and in December 2006 at the Russian Individual Championship in Moscow. Chairullin also achieved decent results at the international level. So he divided the 11th – 21st Place at the Moscow Open -Festival (2008), 3rd-7th Place at the Hogeschool Zeeland Open ( Vlissingen , 2009) and 2nd – 4th. 1st place at the Capablanca Memorial Tournament (Premier) ( Havana , 2010). Chairullin qualified for the 2011 World Chess Cup in Khanty-Mansiysk , but failed there in the first round against the Chinese Ni Hua .

In the Russian team championship he played for Saint Petersburg in 2006 , in 2007 for Ladja Kazan , in 2008 for Economist SGSEU-1 Saratov , with whom he also took part in the European Club Cup in the same year , in 2010 for the Chigorin Chess Club in Saint Petersburg ; since 2011 he has played for Saint Petersburg , with whom he became the Russian team champion in 2013. With Saint Petersburg he also took part in the European Club Cup from 2011 to 2014, he won the competition in 2011 and came second in 2012. Chairullin also played in Germany for SV Wiesbaden and in Belgium for L'Echiquier Amaytois .
