Ildar Rajiljewitsch Fatkullin ( Russian Ильдар Райильевич Фаткуллин ; born October 16, 1982 in Ufa ) is a former Russian ski jumper .
Career
Fatkullin competed his first international jumping on November 28, 1999 at the World Cup in Kuopio, Finland . He finished jumping on the large hill in 42nd place. On February 14, 2000 he started at the Ski Flying World Championships in Vikersund and flew it to 40th place. On December 2, 2000, Fatkullin was able to win World Cup points for the first time with 30th place in the jumping in Kuopio. At the Nordic World Ski Championships in 2001 in Lahti , he reached 46th place on the large hill and 11th place on the normal hill.
On December 30th, 2001 he reached 8th place in Oberstdorf, the best result of his career in an individual competition. At the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City , he jumped to 35th place on the large hill. From the 2002/03 season he also jumped a few competitions in the Continental Cup between the World Cups. At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2003 in Oberstdorf he was able to reach 31st place on the normal hill and 32nd place on the large hill. In the team competition he achieved 5th place on the normal hill and 6th on the large hill together with Dmitri Ipatow , Denis Kornilow and Dmitri Wassiljew .
At the ski flying world championship in 2006 on Kulm , he was 32nd in the individual and seventh with the team. For the 2006 Winter Olympics , he was again in the Russian squad. However, in the individual competitions he only achieved a 44th place on the normal hill and a 41st place on the large hill. With the team he was only seventh again.
After he was unable to build on his previous performance after the games, he jumped his last World Cup competition on December 17, 2006 in Engelberg . On January 1, 2007, he did another jumping in the FIS Cup in Seefeld in Tyrol . Since then he has not jumped internationally, but jumped at national level for a few more years.
