Ilja Baumeier (born November 10, 1991 in Basel ) is a German-Swiss film and theater actor .

Life

Ilja Baumeier grew up in Arlesheim near Basel. He attended a Rudolf Steiner School and completed his community service in 2011 . Following his four-year acting training at the Freiburg Drama School in E-Werk until 2016, he played a. a. in This is how it is at the Theater im Marienbad , Gretchen 89ff. at the Theater Spielzimmer Freiburg, the world premieres of Michelle Steinbeck's The Silence of Nepomuk and the Broken Mirror at the neuestheater.ch in Dornach (director Jonas Darvas).

With the artist collective Flex Colectivo , founded in 2018, the first production Werther after Goethe (directed by Kaija Ledergerber) started in autumn 2019 , an award-winning anniversary project of the Denk an mich Foundation . In 2016 he received the award from the Swiss portal for the promotion of young talents in Switzerland.
