Seitentriebe (English title 'Monogamish') is a Swiss television series with 16 episodes in 2 seasons, which was produced by Swiss television .
action
Seitentriebe is about three couples who have reached different points in their relationships: Nele and Gianni, who have been together for ten years, have not had sex for over two years, want to break out of their ingrained pattern. You end up in bed with the couple therapist and with strangers. Gianni wants children, Nele is overwhelmed with them. Monika and Heinz, married, two children, she dreams of new sex practices, he of tripe. Clara and Anton, in a long-term relationship that is still exciting despite their age. But Clara wants more sex, especially with younger partners.

The eight episodes of season 1 were filmed from March 11th to May 5th, 2017. The filming locations were in the Zurich Oberland and Unterland , Volketswil , Sauriermuseum Aathal and Oberglatt . Seitentriebe is a co-production by SRF and long film.
The second season will be filmed again in the Zurich Oberland and Unterland. The production, in which new characters will appear, will last from September 24th to November 19th, 2018.
The rights to the series could be sold under the title 'Monogamish' to the streaming service SundanceTV (for Latin America) and to the streaming service First Look Media (for USA & Canada).
On January 10, 2020, it was announced that SRF would waive a third season because the ratings for the second season were below expectations.
