Vera Bommer

Vera Bommer (born October 26, 1982 in Zug ) is a Swiss actress and speaker.

Life

Vera Bommer grew up in Ticino , which is why she speaks fluent Italian as well as German. From 2005 to 2007 she completed her acting training at the Zurich University of the Arts . Her first engagement afterwards took her to the children's and youth theater of the Mannheim National Theater , where she stayed until 2008. Afterwards she worked at the Solothurn City Theater . From 2010 to 2013 she was a permanent member of the ensemble of the Theaters Kanton Zürich , since then as a guest actress. Since 2009 she has also been employed as a speaker at the SBS library for the blind in Zurich, where she speaks audio book recordings .

She had her first appearance in a movie in 2006 in Das Fräulein , directed by Andrea Štaka . In a television series she was first seen in an episode in The Undertaker in 2014. In 2017 she was selected for the lead role in the comedy series Seitentriebe by Güzin Kar .

Bommer has been a member of the Schauspielhaus Graz ensemble since 2015 and lives with her partner in Graz .
