Poroschkin started Werschina Tjoi for the first time in the Eastern Europe Cup in November 2014 and finished in 60th place over 10 km freestyle and 123rd and 70th in sprint. In March 2015 he became the Russian junior champion over 15 km classic in Tyumen . At the beginning of the 2018/19 season in Werschina Tjoi he achieved third place over 15 km classic and first place in the sprint, his first podium positions in the Eastern Europe Cup. This was followed by third places over 15 km freestyle and 15 km classic in Krasnogorsk and in Minsk-Raubitschy, third place over 10 km classic and first place over 15 km freestyle. He thus achieved first place in the overall ranking of the Eastern Europe Cup. He made his debut in the cross-country skiing world cup in February 2019 in Cogne . There he ran on the 60th place in the sprint and the day after got his first classic World Cup points with the fifth place over 15 km. At the Winter Universiade 2019 in Krasnoyarsk , he won the bronze medal in the 30 km mass start race. In August 2019 he won the silver medal over 20 km classic at the Rollerski World Championships in Madona . After finishing 21st in the Ruka Triple at the beginning of the 2019/20 season, he won his first World Cup victory in the relay in Lillehammer . This was followed by second places in the Eastern Europe Cup in Kononovskaya in the skiathlon and over 15 km freestyle and thus achieved 14th place in the overall ranking of the Eastern Europe Cup.
