Ilyas Düissenuly Süleimenow [ Ilyas sʉlejmenov ] ( Kazakh Ільяс Дүйсенұлы Сүлейменов , Russian Ильяс Дуйсенович Сулейменов Ilyas Duissenowitsch Suleimenow * 21st December 1990 in the settlement Krasnosnamenskoje , Oblast Tselinograd , Kazakh SSR , USSR ) is a Kazakh boxer. He won the silver medal at the Asian Championships in 2011 and participants in the 2012 Olympic Games in London in the flyweight .

Career

Although he had never won the national championships, Süleimenow was nominated for the 2011 Asian Championships and surprisingly won the silver medal with victories against Hatsanai Phoilevy, Laos (RSC 2nd), Julio Bria, India (29:11) and Rey Saludar, Philippines (30:17) and a point defeat in the final against Chang Yong, China (15:16).

In 2014 he won the Asian Games in Incheon with a final victory over Shahobiddin Zoirov, Uzbekistan (2-1) .
