Illimar Pärn (born October 27, 1988 in Tartu ) is a former Estonian ski jumper .

Career

Pärn jumps for the Elva ski club . Pärn had his first World Cup start with the Estonian team on March 5, 2005 in Lahti in a team competition at the age of 16, when Estonia finished ninth and last place. In the Continental Cup his best result so far was a 29th place, achieved in 2006 in Velenje . In the FIS Cup his best result so far was a 12th place in 2009 in Villach .

Pärn took part in five Junior World Championships, 2004 in Stryn , 2005 in Rovaniemi , 2006 in Kranj , 2007 in Tarvisio and 2008 in Zakopane . His best result was 31st place on the normal hill in Tarvisio. On March 9, 2010, when the qualification in Kuopio was canceled, he took part in a first round in the World Cup for the first time, but was only 56th and last. In Lahti he was able to qualify for a regular World Cup competition for the first time a year later . In the competition on March 13, 2011, however, he was again last in 50th place. After the summer season 2012, in which he achieved his best Continental Cup result with 22nd place in Kuopio, Finland, he ended his career.

Pärn took part in the Nordic World Ski Championships in Liberec in 2009 , but was eliminated from the qualification on both the normal hill and the large hill.
