Elena Anna Staller (born November 26, 1951 in Budapest ), better known by her stage name Cicciolina , is a Hungarian - Italian politician and former porn actress . After her withdrawal from the pornography business, Staller was actively involved in the Italian party Partito Radicale , for which she sat in parliament in Rome from 1987 to 1992 .

Life

Early years

Staller was born the daughter of an official in the Hungarian Interior Ministry. Her mother was a midwife by profession . Marriage to Koons

In 1991 she married the American object artist Jeff Koons . Huge photos showed the pleasurable event down to the last detail, but not to shock, but to reveal the beauty in the provocation. International political activities

Staller is still politically active. She advocates a secure future without nuclear energy and absolute sexual freedom including the right to sex for prison inmates and the legalization of brothels . She opposes all forms of violence, the death penalty and animal testing . She calls for the decriminalization of drugs, a ban on all forms of censorship, sex lessons in schools and objective education about AIDS . In addition, Staller proposed an increase in vehicle tax to finance environmental projects.

In January 2002 Staller looked for opportunities to move into the Hungarian parliament for the Budapest district of Kőbánya in her home country . She wanted to work to help the poor, public health, the homeless and the problems of retirees. To show her left-wing attitudes, she often bared her left breast during the election campaign. However, she was unsuccessful with her candidacy.

On April 11, 2013, Staller announced that she wanted to run for the office of mayor of Rome , as a candidate for the Italian Liberal Party , in the local elections on May 26 and 27, 2013 . However, it was already defeated in the intra-party candidate list against Edoardo de Blasio, who received only 0.08% of the vote in the mayoral election.
