Mohamed Ilyes Chaïbi (born October 12, 1996 in Bron ) is a French football player .
Career
Chaïbi began his career at FC Évian Thonon Gaillard . In the summer of 2014 he moved to AS Monaco . He made his debut for the Monegasque B team in the fourth-highest division in September 2014 when he came on as a substitute for Fabio Genga in the 51st minute on matchday four of the 2014/15 season against US Le Pontet . In the game that Monaco B won 5-1, he also scored his first goal when he made it 4-1 in the 84th minute. At the end of the season he had 13 appearances in which he scored two goals.
On January 17, 2016, he was in the professional squad for the first time in the league game against FC Lorient . He made his debut for AS Monaco on January 20, 2016, when he came on as a substitute for Kylian Mbappé in the last sixteen of the Cup against FC Évian Thonon Gaillard in the 83rd minute . In Ligue 1 , he finally made his debut on January 30, 2016, when he was brought into play on the 23rd match day of the 2015/16 season against SCO Angers in the 80th minute for Bernardo Silva . For the B team he completed 26 games in that season, in which he scored 19 goals.
In August 2016 Chaïbi was awarded to the second division club AC Ajaccio . He played his first game for Ajaccio in Ligue 2 on the second match day of the 2016/17 season, when he started against ES Troyes AC and was replaced by Hugo Videmont in the 79th minute . By the end of the season he made 17 games in Ligue 2. He was also used twice for Ajaccio's B team. He then returned to Monaco.
In January 2018 he completed a trial training session with the Austrian second division club FC Wacker Innsbruck . He was then loaned from Innsbruck. The loan agreement was terminated early in May 2018.
In summer 2018 he moved to Algeria for MC Alger .
