Extraction and presentation

Iminoctadine can be obtained by reacting cyanamide with methanol and sulfuric acid to form ortho-methylisourea, and then with bis (8-aminooctyl) amine .

use

Iminoctadine is used as a fungicide and bird repellent for seed treatment of cereals.

Admission

The use of the active ingredient iminoctadine in plant protection products is not permitted in the European Union. In Germany, Austria and Switzerland, no pesticides with this active ingredient are permitted.
