The sixth album by the Austrian dark metal band Dornenreich is scratched in the air and was released in 2008 by Prophecy Productions .

After the previous album Durch den Traum von Eviga - with the exception of a guest appearance by the band's founder - was recorded alone, Thomas "Ínve" Riesner, who was previously a guest musician at Her von welken Nachts , is now on In Luft scratched to support him with the violin was heard and has been a member of the group since 2006.

The album was released in two different versions. The limited digipak edition received a second CD as a bonus, which contained the entire album as an instrumental version.

Musical aspects

The music consists purely of violin and acoustic guitar (sometimes supported by percussions), with the violin often also being dominant. The songs themselves alternate between lively and folk music, there is also melancholy music. Eviga mainly uses a type of spoken and whispered singing, which also sounds aggressive in some places.
