Indestructible is the sixth studio album by the punk band Rancid , released in 2003. It moves stylistically away from the hardcore punk of the group's previous album. Instead, more Ska elements were added to the songs.

reception

The album, which reached number 15 in the US charts, was also received largely positively by the critics. In the opinion of the Laut.de reviewer , Indestructible is the best rancid album since 1995 ( … And Out Come the Wolves ). Allmusic criticized individual tracks, but recommends the record as a whole. Tim Armstrong's singing is particularly praised . The Ox fanzine condemned commercialization . The way in which the band can be marketed contradicts all of the original ideas of punk. Musically, however, the band recordeda solid punk record that is fun, but does not give rise to euphoria. "

Indestructible also placed in the charts in Germany and Austria .
