Ingo Marmulla

Ingo Marmulla (born March 4, 1955 in Wanne-Eickel ) is a German guitarist and music teacher.

Live and act

Influenced by Peter Brötzmann and Karlheinz Stockhausen, Marmulla studied pedagogy from 1976 at the University of Göttingen . During his studies he belonged to the bands of Allan Praskin and Gunter Hampel and was involved in two of Hampel's albums. Then he went back to the Ruhr area, where he performed with Theo Jörgensmann ( Songs of Bo-Wa-Ge ) and Achim Krämer and played with the latter in the Ding Dong Band . He also played in the pit orchestra sound of Georg Gräwe ( Bergmann life ) and worked with the comedian Achim Konejung and with Helge Schneider . He also toured with Tyree Glenn , Casey Jones & the Governors, and Wayne Bartlett. With Thomas Alkier he founded a band to which Charlie Mariano also belonged. He also worked with Jasper van't Hof and Katrin Scherer .

He also set poetry by Josef Guggenmos to music .

He also worked as a teacher for the subjects of music, history and geography at the Mont-Cenis-Gesamtschule in Herne until July 12, 2019 .
