Ingrid Holzhüter

Ingrid Holzhüter b. Krupke (born November 12, 1936 in Berlin-Kreuzberg , † September 25, 2009 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( SPD ) and a member of the Bundestag .

After graduating from the Eckener-Gymnasium in Berlin, Holzhüter passed her state examination as a housekeeping manager and before moving into the Bundestag she worked as a retail toy specialist . In addition to membership in various associations and organizations, such as the HBV union , Greenpeace and the volunteer fire brigade , she joined the SPD in 1975. From 1978 to 1987 she was district chairwoman of the Working Group of Social Democratic Women (ARSP) and from 1988 to 1990 regional chairwoman of the ARSP Berlin. From 1985 she belonged to the Berlin House of Representatives , but left it in 1994 and instead moved into the Bundestag. In 1994 she was elected via the state list, in 1998 she entered the Bundestag as an elected direct candidate in the constituency of Berlin-Tempelhof , which she in turn left in 2002.
