Ingvar Ericsson, 1954

Ingvar Ericsson ( Ingvar Axel Harald Ericsson; born August 31, 1927 in Rinna , Boxholm ; † May 14, 2020 in Stockholm ) was a Swedish middle -distance runner who specialized in the 1,500 meter distance .

At the European Athletics Championships in Brussels in 1950 he was seventh, at the 1952 Olympic Games in Helsinki eighth and fourth at the 1954 European Championships in Bern.

At the Olympic Games in Melbourne in 1956 and at the Euro 1958 in Stockholm, he was eliminated in the preliminary run.

In 1952, 1954 and 1955 he was Swedish champion.
