Inka Isabel Schneider (born May 11, 1967 in Rüsselsheim ) is a German journalist and presenter .

Life

Schneider's father was a purser at Lufthansa for 30 years . There he met her mother, a flight attendant . Schneider's sister and her brother are also flight attendants.

Schneider studied social and business communication at the University of Arts in Berlin . Schneider worked for six months as an intern and copywriter at the Scholz & Friends agency in Hamburg . In the following years she worked as a freelancer for RIAS Berlin and volunteered at WDR in Cologne as a radio editor. There she then worked as an editor, reporter and moderator in various editorial offices.

From 1997 to 2001, Schneider presented the ARD morning magazine with Peter Großmann and Sven Kuntze . Kuntze accompanied her to Washington, DC as her partner in life. From 2001 to 2004, Schneider worked there as an ARD correspondent. Since 2004 Schneider has moderated the regional magazine DAS! of Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR) and from the end of 2005 to the end of 2016 the magazine Zapp - Das Medienmagazin . It trains young journalists and gives moderation and reporter seminars.

Schneider is a member of the advice team of the SWR advice program I have a big name .

In 1996, Schneider and colleagues founded journalists.network - as a network of young independent journalists - and initially took over the chairmanship.
