Island pigeon green

The island pigeons Green is a nature reserve in the district Cochem-Zell in Rhineland-Palatinate . The approximately 35 hectare area is located southwest of the municipality of Senheim on an island in the Moselle and south of it.
"The purpose of the protection is the preservation of the island and the area in front of the Moselle, including the water and marshland as a location for rare plants and as a breeding and resting area for numerous endangered bird species for scientific reasons."
