Falkenlay (nature reserve)

Falkenlay is a nature reserve in the district of Cochem-Zell in Rhineland-Palatinate . The approximately 9 hectare area is located south of the Kennfus district in the local community of Bad Bertrich at the 413.7 meter high Falkenlay mountain in the Eifel .
The Geo-Route Bad Bertrich leads from below the so-called Stone Age caves (proven settlement in the Stone Age ) past the slope of the Falkenlay. On the mountain there is a small observation tower of the same name with a wide view of the Üßbach valley and a view of the observation tower on the Entersburg .
