The Institute for Applied Creativity (IAK Germany) carries out recruitment and experience-oriented personnel and organizational development measures for managers and teams in the areas of personnel management , cooperation , innovation and organizational development and also conducts research in these areas.

history

The IAK was founded in 1970 in Cologne by Friedrich (Christo) Quiske, Stefan Skirl and Rainer Wetz as the first German institute to impart core skills in creativity . It has since been seminars , coaching , lectures and events especially for managers of business enterprises by. The institute caught the attention of the media and many companies through unconventional seminars and training methods . Executives from large companies (including: Airbus , BASF , BMW , Porsche , Siemens , Volkswagen ) took part in the institute's events. The first TETA seminars were held in 1981. Internationalization began in 1998. After IAK Switzerland was founded, companies in Italy, USA, Brazil, Austria, Holland and Poland followed.

Today the IAK group consists of a worldwide network of over 25 partners. Research projects and innovative teaching and learning formats have been carried out with the University of Bochum and other universities since 2012 . The Davinci project was also funded by the Federal Ministry of Education .

Special media attention was the creative barometer that enables companies to capture the creative atmosphere in their own company and to recognize changes. It was funded by the European Union .
