Interclubs 2007/08

The 2007/08 Interclubs was the Belgian team championship in chess.

Champion became the newly promoted Vliegend Peerd Bredene , while the defending champion Cercle Royal des Echecs de Liège et Echiquier Liègeois had to be content with sixth place. In addition to Bredene, the Brussels Chess Club was promoted from Division 2 . This also achieved relegation, while the second team of KSK 47 Eynatten and Boey Temse were relegated.

Game dates

The competitions were played on October 7 and 21, November 4 and 18, December 2, 2007, January 6 and 20, February 10 and 17, March 2 and 16, 2008 and took place decentrally at the participating associations.

mode

The twelve participating teams played a simple round-robin tournament . The number of points on the board (three points for a win, two points for a draw, one point for a defeat, no point for a defeat without a fight) and then the number of team points (one point for a team win, half a point) decided the placement Point for a tie, no point for a loss).
