Wiktor Michalewski ( Russian Виктор Маркович Михалевский , FIDE spelling Victor Mikhalevski ; born July 8, 1972 in Homel ) is an Israeli chess player .

He played for Israel at two Chess Olympiads : 2006 and 2010 . He also took part in the European Team Championship (2009). He won the Israeli individual championship in 2014.

In Austria he played for SK Fürstenfeld ( 2009/10 and 2010/11 ).

In 1993 he was awarded the title of International Master (IM). The title of Grand Master (GM) was awarded to him in 1996.
