Oleksandr Hryhorowytsch Chusman ( Ukrainian Олександр Григорович Хузман , Russian Александр Григорьевич Хузман Alexander Grigorievich Chusman ; FIDE notation Alexander Huzman * 10. April 1962 in Zhytomyr , Ukrainian SSR ) is a from the Ukraine originating Israeli chess players .

He played for Israel at five Chess Olympiads : 1996 and 2000 to 2006 . He also took part in two European team championships (1997 and 1999).

He was French team champion in the 2009/10 season with the Club de L'Echiquier Chalonnais .

In 1988 he was awarded the title of International Master (IM). The title of Grand Master (GM) was awarded to him in 1991.

Chusman was trained by Michail Trosman. Chusman himself is a trainer at the Shevah Mofet High School chess academy in Tel Aviv . There he trained Marsel Efroimski , for example .
